Two-time Sammie nominated songwriter Richard March made his way to Sacramento from his native Bay Area by way of Nashville. Richard grabbed the attention of local critics and music fans while playing solo showcases and quickly put together a band of accomplished northern California musicians. The Richard March band features all stars Kevin Priest on drums, Tyler Ragle on bass and Steve Randall on electric guitar. More train of thought than stream of conscious; more realist than impressionist, Richard's a song craftsman who spins narratives from the people and places he and sets them against a backdrop of what was once called folk & country music; now called "Americana" & "roots" music.
