Justin’s busting rocks, and breaking chains.
Shaking loose the years and the pain
In a wagon full of freedom, riding high
Trying to meet his maker, ‘fore he dies
Now everyday he wins another game
Justin’s busting rocks, and breaking chains.
He comes from a hardness many know.
Something hurts, you don’t let it show
Tired of watching kin folk dying slow
One day he started in to letting go
Now every hour’s a chance to fire the flame
Justin’s busting rocks and breaking chains
Busting chains, breaking out, finding what real love’s about.
Starting with the morning mirror staring back.
Breaking rocks, and busting through, to a brighter sky a’
blue
After fears, and tears, and years of shackled shame.
Justin’s busting rocks and breaking chains.
Justin’s dusting off his old daydreams
One’s that fell behind, and in between
The kids are grown, and he found someone who
Wants to finish out, and see it through
And even when it feels like nothing’s changed
Justin’s busting rocks and breaking chains
Busting chains, breaking out, finding what real love’s about.
Starting with the morning mirror staring back.
Breaking rocks, and busting through, to a brighter sky a’
blue
After fears, and tears, and years of shackled shame.
