Do you know Daynee Ray
Her long hair is misty gray
With deep cool eyes, only sometimes blue
Her clothes are faded from a constant dew
She fills these streets with her sweet perfume
And eases up my mind
Oh, Daynee Ray, won’t you
Stay, Daynee Ray
And on a summer’s day
She asks the clouds to stay
For a party thrown at a seaside town
With lights and music that shake the ground
Dreamers come from all around
To watch their window panes
It’s a magic day when she comes to play
Daynee Ray.
